As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been on in a while, and won't be on for a while longer. My Laptops 'broken' and won't be able to get on. It could be gone for 1-3 weeks, just thought I'd let you all know.

London Marathon 2009
Is anyone/anyone you know running in the London Marathon?
If you don't know what it is, I'll tell you.
It's when anyone of any shape, size, background etc raises money for charity when you run 26 miles through London (From Blackheath, South London to The Mall, Buckingham Palace in sort of Central London). Celebrities even join in, I think the fastest time was like 2 hours or something. You don't have to sprint or run you can jog or walk.
Here's more Information:

I lol'd when later on I saw "London Marathon Highlights", how does someone decide the 'highlights' of a 26mile run, surely it's only the start and end?

Re: London Marathon 2009
It's like a personal achievement to complete the marathon for a lot of people, not always for charity .
accepting donations for the 'ej needs a new computer' charity

Re: London Marathon 2009
i don't like people that brag about their achievements, you can say it once but not always repeat it
i think it is quite an achievement to finish a marathon. i might run one for the experience
