What brand is best?

Which laptop/computer brand do you think is the best and which is the worst?

You are entitled to your own opinion.....hopefully

I think Sony is alright, it might be expensive but it does seem like good quality, also HP looks good for a computer, I haven't had a HP computer/laptop before but still...

I think Compaq is quite bad.... I don't know why

great customer support and nice laptops/computers
also they have a large variety of laptops/computers

Dell is nice.

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens laptop with decent specs and crappy Vista home basic. It fails, saving for a Dell, actually

Dell aren't as good as everyone thinks, well over rated in my opinion.
Sony Vaios are nice but a bit over priced. I really wanted a HP when I was getting my laptop, but it was loads compared to the same spec toshiba which I have now. I love my toshiba, affordable, reliable, can take a good beating and won't break easily like 'expensive' models, although I must admit it does look a little...'', keys aren't as nice to type or touch, but overall they're good.

There's another brand I like but the name has totally left my head, cannot think of it to save my life

EDIT- another one I just remembered, Macs, love them but too overpriced

Macs are loads of cash!! I probably wouldn't get one for the fact I've been brought up using Windows.

I have thought of getting a Toshiba or an Acer also. As long as it's not crappy like my current one.

Macs are nice, very good for specific programs for design and stuff

I think Dell ain't bad, it's a good computer/laptop company but I think HP might be good because my cousin has got a HP laptop and it looks really good...

My Dad has a HP, and it's stayed working for 3 years, when mine and my brothers Fujitsu Siemens have both needed to be repaired.

Cool! HP sounds promising....

I'm not keen on Acer....

...Because my school used to have them.

Imo, acer is not that good, i don't like it
