As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been on in a while, and won't be on for a while longer. My Laptops 'broken' and won't be able to get on. It could be gone for 1-3 weeks, just thought I'd let you all know.

Help. Every single word has the stupid links in them Does anyone know how to get rid of them?
Re: help pl0x :o
I dunno but when I copy and paste homework (don't tell my teachers ) I always right click and click on remove hyperlink, if that don't work then it's just the website ,just like my signature doesn't appear on my posts.

They're set there by the forum provider (Omgforum) as a source of income, rather than having banner adds. There should be an option in the admin Cp to turn these off, although it might cost you to remove the adds.
It is either that or search engine tracker bots finding the site, which will help it come up higher in a search. So if I search Runescape Help this would come up higher than if we didn't have these little crawler bots.(Not 100% sure if it does). As the name suggests, these little bots crawl over the Internet and pick up on links, which help for their search engine, I'm not 100% sure how it works but I have a good basic understanding.Often on these types of forum (I know it happens on IPB anyway) at the bottom it will often say under the online now "Google Bot" or "Yahoo Bot".

Wow Ej you know a lot about these forums, you must have your research lol I don't really understand much about it but I understood what you were talking about and I agree with Ej it might be something to do with OmgForum.
