This is quite serious and that's why the world is taking a bit of notice to this as flights are ongoing through this time. It's a swine flu and has killed 81 people in Mexico. Sad

I've heard there are 2 cases in Coventry, which is quite close to where I live, 12 miles or so.

Here's hoping Britain coughs up those 50 million anti-flu tablets.

Skrumeee has done his research on this particular subject -
8 confirmed deaths, all of them a Mexicans. 1 person died in America, but he was a Mexican toddler who had gone over the border since the flu has spread. I know like 170 have died, but they've stated this could be from another strain of flu - only 8 people have been confirmed. How the hell is this a pandemic?

Also, in Mexico they;ve got something like N1H5 for the name of the virus, everywhere else is N1H1. That means we have a weakened version anyway, so what is the fuss about?

I don't care if I get it, I'm not extremely young, old, or frail.

This is going to be a global pandemic because it's spreading from human to human now.

Here's a hyperlink that will always get the latest on where the swine flu is and how many confirmed cases/deaths there are:
